Marissa Romero, initially rooted in Las Vegas dance studios, beautifully transitioned her dance foundation into a spiritual and ritualized art form. Her journey took her to Asia in 2015, where she not only performed internationally as a fire dancer but also melded yoga asanas with her dance and mastered the transformative and fluid nature of contact improvisation. Under the tutelage of world-renowned instructors, Marissa led workshops across Asia. Upon her return to the United States, she founded Ecstatic Dance Las Vegas, bringing the magic of conscious freeform dance and contact improv to her home city.

Mia Blaisdel, of Connected Heart Events, is a lover of connection, community, and embodiment. She uses her theatre, conscious dance, and authentic relating background to create a fun and playful way to connect with yourself and others, take off your metaphorical 'mask', and drop into your true self. She facilitates women’s groups, Nonviolent Communication workshops, and other connection and communication events.
